Strategies Used For Building Self-Confidence

One of the common elements that our team members notice once they join Linking Minds is a boost in self-confidence. We want everyone who joins our organization to achieve their personal and professional potential, and that starts with believing in ourselves and our abilities.

Of course, building self-esteem takes determination and purposeful effort, so here are some of our suggestions to help team members feel better about themselves:

Dress Professionally: Small changes in this area make a big difference. Clothes should be clean, pressed, and fit appropriately. When we look good and we know it, we stand straighter and smile more broadly.

Try Positive Self-Talk: Everyone talks to themselves, but not everyone says positive things when they do. We monitor what we say and think to make sure we’re building ourselves up with our inner monologue. A really book on the subject for further study is “What to Say When You Talk to Yourself,” by Shad Helmstetter.

Be Well-Mannered: It has been said that manners grease the wheels of society, and we can certainly vouch for that on a smaller level. In our workplace, team members with social graces are easier and more pleasant to work alongside, making them both popular and effective.

These are just some of the suggestions we give our team members when it comes to building self-confidence. See more of our strategies by liking Linking Minds on Facebook.
